Morning reflection. Viera Wetlands, Florida

Great Horned baby owl. We saw the mother in a nearby tree and then somebody pointed the "baby" out to us, they are not small. Inspite of its size, we were told that only a few days before this baby had been attacked by a red shouldered hawk which had actually thrown it onto the parking lot. It appeared to be OK. Shot at Shark Valley in the Everglades.
